Biography

Self taught artist since 2002, with private and group exhibitions.

Most of her artwork is in acrylic and mixed media techniques on canvas.

BASSANTI, likes to paint surreal creatures and each painting has a deep story to tell.  In her painting art lovers can admire an unknown and wonderful world of fantasies.

Bassanti and his friend Alpin influenced each other's art during their time together in the U.S.

They helped each other and were inspired by the landscapes of the Latin American countryside, creating some works of art on cardboard, featuring thatched houses, streams, and beautiful landscapes with local trees.  The houses were built with reeds or wooden rulers and smeared with mud on both sides.

After Alpin's death, some works remained unfinished.

Bassanti also participated in the Patronato de Nutrición Art Auction (Art Donation).

Donation to Eli Lilly Oncology, cancer center.

Donation to the American Association of Panama.

Donation to Hospicio San José, HIV-AIDS, Guatemala.
